Sun OpenSolaris supports currently 2249 systems. Sun has an updated list of all the supported hardware. The Hardware Compatibility List shows systems and peripherals which are compatible with the Solaris OS. There are 1064 systems (968 x86/x64 systems, 96 SPARC systems) and 1644 components currently listed.
